Laconia-----A Graveside Service for Dorothy L. Hills, 92, of 175 Blueberry Lane and formerly of Alton, will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2005 at 1:00PM at the family lot in New Riverside Cemetery, Alton. She died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Monday, January 24, 2005.

Mrs. Hills was born August 1, 1912 in Malden, MA, the daughter of Martin & Mary Harding. She lived in Concord, MA for several years before moving to the Lakes Region fifty years ago. She was employed at Sprague Electric for sixteen years, retiring in 1968.

Mrs. Hills was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Laconia. She was an avid bingo player; a member of the Red Hat Society and a member and past president of the Resident Council at Genesis.

Survivors include four daughters, Marilyn Cinami of Connecticut, Nancy Young and Virginia Gash both of Indiana and Marcia Lockwood of Alaska; fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Alden Hills, in 1966.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Genesis Eldercare Network, Laconia Center, Resident Council Fund, 175 Blueberry Lane, Laconia, NH 03246.
